Halo 3

So if you know me then you know I'm a big fan of halo 3. It's one of the first xbox games I've ever played and is close to my heart.

A video I'm in about the end of the game's online functionality. I appear at 21:30 as medikXBOX.

Halo 3 Review

"This is the last true Halo game, and in my opinion it's objectively the best in the series so far. The campaign missions played well and had the best set pieces seen in a Halo game to date, not to mention it also has arguably the most diverse campaign mission in it too (The Covenant) where you basically get to use and fight against nearly every asset in the game, the scale was and still is tremendous for a halo game and still hasn't been matched. Multiplayer in this game was as close to perfectly balanced as you could get, the Battle Rifle wasn't the glitch fest all dominating weapon from Halo 2 anymore, it became refined and balanced giving majority of encounters flavor in terms of weaponry, ranged firefights took skill as you actually had to lead targets due to the lower bullet velocity unlike Reach where you can be pinpoint accurate and on target when someone is moving across a map or being able to drop a Falcon across the map because there is no possible way to dodge the laser velocity of DMR rounds... Large maps played rather well with the huge amount of vehicles and weaponry at your disposal, small maps play good but the extremely narrow FOV is problematic (PC version on MCC coming soon will fix this) Overall this is the Halo game I consider closest to perfect, there was no need for sprint as you're a super soldier and always run around at high speed anyway, there was no need for armor abilities as you had enough weapons at your disposal to make most encounters interesting, vehicles were more viable to use in this game as there was only really one weapon that messed them up with ease (Spartan Laser)."

Halo 3 Review

"I didn't grow up with Halo like many other people here. That said, I have finally gotten into playing the Halo games recently, and I couldn't be happier that I've finally joined this community after all this time. When looking at the original Halo trilogy in all of its glory, Halo 3 is that main standout for me. Everything about this game felt right and it's an incredibly satisfying end to the trilogy. Some of my favorite video game moments of all time are in this game, and I have quite a few games that are very dear to my heart so that's saying something. If you haven't played Halo, I believe that the original trilogy at the very least is an absolute must when it comes to video games you should play before you die."
